Belvedere Chalets

Méribel

Méribel is one of the most beautiful mountain villages in the Savoie region of the French Alps. Carefully retaining its Savoyard style and charm it is situated at the heart of Les Trois Vallées. The magical combination of the ambiance of a traditional alpine village and the thrill of skiing the largest ski areas in the world is indeed intoxicating. Its 200 lifts connect Méribel, Courchevel, La Tania, St Martin de Belleville, Mottaret, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, offering skiing for all grades from beginners to the most experienced off-piste skier. Lifts extend to 3300 metres and the six hundred and fifteen kilometres of well-groomed pistes make the Trois Vallées the biggest ski area in the world. Après-ski in Méribel is intimate and fun, with many restaurants, bars and events - from international ice-hockey in the Olympic rink to dog-sledding around the many miles of walking trails through the forests. For those preferring gentler pursuits, there is good walking, snow-shoeing or cross-country skiing around the nearby Altiport .

The Chalets

Belvedere Travel was established in 1999 by the owners of Chalets Valentine and Le Petit Ours. Moguls, situated in the same exclusive area of Belvedere, joined the group in 2003. Although each of these privately owned chalets offers its distinctively individual atmosphere, they share a common theme of luxury, style and attention to detail that is rarely found elsewhere in the Alps.
